Pacific Northwest Aesthetics Academy offers a monthly, two-day dermal filler and neuromodulator injection training course that meets the national requirements to begin a career in aesthetics immediately upon completion. Participants must be medical professionals with at least one of the following current licenses: LPN, RN, NP, PA, MD, ND, OD, DDS, DDM.
An overview of the history of botox is followed by extensive classroom discussion of mechanism, efficacy, adverse reactions and treatment considerations with all four of the neuromodulators FDA approved for use in the US (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeuveau). Instruction on patient assessment and injection techniques will be followed by hands on experience with models.
A maximum of five students per trainer allows for ample opportunity for students to practice on models as well as each other.
Day two includes, an introduction to the many different types of dermal filler and a demonstration of consultation techniques to determine the best course of treatment to maximize your patient’s satisfaction.
Students will learn how to exam facial structures and discuss anatomical changes as people age. Injection techniques, adverse reactions and solutions to common dermal filler issues will be covered prior to hands on practice with models and fellow students.
Whether you’re starting an aesthetics practice full-time, beginning to inject part-time, or simply exploring your options, the training staff at PNAA can answer all your marketing, business structure, and legal questions to enable you to feel completely confident, and competent, as you embark on your new career.
Representatives from the major aesthetic companies will be in attendance so you can set up your account and get started immediately.
